Dr. Ryan and her husband, Nick, have three children and one other business, Prairie Creek Vineyards, just outside of Central City. You can catch Dr. Ryan waiting tables there on Friday nights. Board, and as a member and president of the CC Area Chamber of Commerce. She also is involved and sits on the UNMC College of Dentistry Alumni Association Board and the Dean's Advisory Council. Professional associations include American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
She generally has little free time, but when she gets a chance, she likes to grab a good book and a cup of coffee. Her son says she makes the best cinnamon rolls in the whole wide world and she is someone to be reckoned with in a pumpkin carving contest.
Laurie has been delighting patients of our dental practice since April of 1990, serving in the capacity of Patient Care Coordinator. Laurie works with insurance, appointment scheduling, accounts, and sometimes you can catch her in the back working as a chairside dental assistant. Laurie brings an amazing wealth of knowledge to our team and works continuously to keep the office running smoothly for patients and staff.
Laurie grew up and graduated from Silver Creek. She has been married to Ed for over 35 years and they have three amazing grandchildren, Eva, Ruby, & Silas. Eva & Ruby's parents Brad & Stephanie live in Omaha where Brad is a physical therapist. Laurie’s daughter, Megan, also lives in Omaha and is a regional manager for several Scooter’s Coffee businesses in Omaha.
Laurie loves outdoor projects, mission trips, bicycling, baking angel food cakes, and being a Grandma! Laurie also delights in being a grandma to Kimi’s kids and spoiling them. She is a very involved volunteer at Nebraska’s annual Mission of Mercy projects every year and in her church and community.
Mandy Perdew grew up in Nebraska (Go Big Red!), and is married to her best friend, Andy. They have 4 children who love to cause gray hair and wrinkles but make life completely wonderful. Andy coaches basketball at Nebraska Christian School, where their children attend. He also works full time for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The whole family enjoys sports, whether it's watching or playing.
Mandy loves her family, the outdoors, Uganda, and Gilmore Girls. She is excited to be a part of the Central City Family Dental Team!
Wendy Botsch, RDH
Wendy has been in the Dental field for the past 14 years, and with Central City Family Dental for 6 years! Starting as an office manager, then dental assisting, while continuing her dental hygiene curriculum, she worked in Lincoln for Lincoln Periodontics before returning to her hometown and joining our team in July 2012.
Wendy enjoys being back in the community and reconnecting with familiar faces and new faces alike! She loves her profession and is passionate about hygiene.
Wendy is married to Dan Botsch who also comes from a small town farm near Leigh, Nebraska. Dan works for UPS and owns and operates Botsch Building Consulting. They have two children, Clayton and Caleigh.
Wendy enjoys many things in life; but most importantly, time on her family farm with her parents and close friends. There is never a dull moment at the Botsch’s! Wendy loves what the outdoors offers – animals, nature, gardening, and hiking. In the summer she enjoys spending time at the ball fields and camping.
Wendy is always up for an adventure – she likes to go kayaking, horseback riding, plays volleyball, shoost archery, junk jaunting, refurbishing antiques and shopping with her daughter. Wendy also loves a good Western movie or book and all the old outlaw country music you can drum up!

She is passionate about dentistry and the connection she is able to make with her patients as she strives to provide the best care to each individual.
Chelsea is married to her high school sweet heart Jacob Arendt from Valentine, NE. They have one spunky daughter, Adalyn, and a son, Bronson. They live in Aurora where her husband works for Heritage Bank as a Relationship Manager.
Since she was a little girl, Chelsea knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist. She loves her job, but she enjoys spending time with her family most of all. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends, going on a long run, reading a book, or conquering one of her many “Pinterest” projects.
Chelsea doesn't routinely wear her wedding dress to work, but you may catch her brushing her teeth! =)
Natalie Foulk, Dental Assistant
More fun information will be coming about Natalie!
Emily Swartz, Dental Assistant
Emily joined our office in late 2017 and hasn't taken a breath since. She had six years of dental assisting experience before becoming part of our team, and she's been running all over the state to take classes and improve the level of patient care that she delivers.
Emily brings a quiet, calming presence to the office which we think balances out Dr. Ryan just right. If you get them both in the same room the laughter level is at a medium.
Emily lives in metro Grand Island with her husband Gary and their three daughters Kalyssa, Kaylee and Kenzie. Outside of the office Emily enjoys camping, hiking, paddle boarding, refinishing furniture, jeeping and most importantly spending time with her friends and family.
